And here's a little story we wrote for you!
‘Muddle-puddle-piddly-fuddle-duddle!’
Harry stood in the school playground,
Head to toe drenched from the rain
Hair dripping to his face,
Water bouncing off his brain
‘Now what? My costume’s ruined?’ He cried,
Matilda standing by his side,
Equally soaked,
With a cheeky glint in her eye.
‘Come on Harry, it’s not so bad, it’s just a little shower.
School doesn’t even start for another hour.’
‘Follow me, we’ll get it fixed’, she said.
We’ll make brand new World Book Day outfits.
Running into the classroom,
‘With What?’ Harry called out,
Matilda laughed.
Picking up pieces of paper, ‘Whatever’s about!’
Curiously watching, what’s she looking for?
Crawling around on their classroom floor.
Popping up from under a table she cried.
‘Harry, who’s your favorite book character?’
…..A long pause, for what seemed like an hour….
He leapt to his feet with excitement,
Claws out, grinning from cheek-to-cheek
Standing tall on his pointy-little feet.
‘Cat In the Hat, No doubt about that!’ came Harry's shout.
Matilda coming in closer to check him out.
‘Well you’ll need some pointy ears…..’
Tearing some paper into triangular pairs,
‘…A giant bowtie.’
Tying her scarf around his neck
‘….And………of course, a cat certainly needs a tail.’
Matilda ran to her coat rail.
Hanging poised ready for action hung her Black Cat Tail.
She fixed it around Harry’s waist, took a step back.
She looked,
She saw him,
THE CAT IN THE HAT
He stretched up his neck, wiggled his hips,
Flowing the following words from his kitty-cat lips.
“I know it is wet and the sun is not sunny, but we can have lots of good fun that is funny.” - THE CAT IN THE HAT

Imaginative play is a crucial part of intellectual and social development. With TellTails children learn through role-play by bringing characters to life, and feed their imaginations with storytelling.
“TellTails products have the ability to bring a child's imagination to life and transform them into their animal of choice. The product is fun, accessible and reasonably priced, and fills a gap in the market for children's fancy dress – as it isn't an entire outfit, it gives the child the freedom to explore characters as they play.”
